Well, this one didn't go so well. Daddy got Rylie into the plane; but, the woman running the ride took too long to load kids and get the ride going and Rylie got bored and wanted out. He wasn't alone ... 2 other kids got out too. You'd think they'd realize little kids don't understand waiting.
Rylie liked riding the boats! This was his first time on them. We didn't take the stroller this time, just his monkey leash. Daddy tied the money's tail to the boat to make sure Rylie stayed in!
We decided to take Rylie back to Tweetsie again yesterday. Here is Rylie and Chris waiting in line to ride the boats. Rylie was trying to blow mommy a kiss.
I can't believe my sweet girl is 16 already!!! We all gathered for a cook out and swim party to celebrate Kimmy's birthday with her.
I got the whole pool to myself for a couple of minutes. Can you see me??
These 2 are so much alike it's scary sometimes!!
Rylie and cousin Kaedin are so close. I just love my boys.
Can you tell how proud he is of himself? He is such a little water bug!!!
Rylie with his big cousin Brooke. They were sitting on Brooke's bed watching Spongebob.
Mommy and Daddy got me a Sheriff's Badge w/ a picture of the choo choo train in the center. Don't I make a nice Sheriff?!
Rylie clapped for the people putting on the show on the train ride.
Rylie loved the "gun fight".
Rylie and Daddy on the horses!
Mommy couldn't get Rylie to look at her for the picture. He sure was happy to see them!
Dora and Diego were at Tweetsie. Rylie loves Dora and Diego. He wore his Diego shirt just for the occasion. When it was his turn he ran straight up to Diego and gave him a hug!
Rylie loved our visit to Tweetsie. Here you can see him driving with daddy.
OK, I gotta tell this story. I wanted to put this pool in the back seat of the car. Chris said it would not fit. He proceeds to buy some twine and tie it to the top of the car. We were at the garden center at Walmart. I pulled around to the stop sign that leads up to Winkler Mill Rd. Well, the pool started sliding. Chris added more twine. I started up the road, turned onto Winkler Mill Rd. and barely made it less than 1/4 of a mile before it flew off the top of the car {at 20 miles per hour I might add}. Chris decides to tie it back up w/ double twine. I told him just to follow me home because I didn't think I would make it home. I even took back roads to go slower. Well, I made it, 20 miles an hour, approx. 1/2 of a mile up Pads Rd. before it blew off again ... right in the road in front of Chris's car. We had traffic backed up because we were going so slow. I got out and just stood there laughing at him as he got it out of the road and the cars passed him. Finally, he decides to try to get it IN the car {remember, that was my idea to begin w/}. He had to fold it; but, it did fit. I made it home after that. The things we do for our kids! LOL
I think we picked the perfect pool. Not too big; but, it's big enough to make our little guy happy!
That smile makes it all worth while. That's the best feeling in the world to see him so happy!
Rylie got a new pool today. We decided to get a hard plastic one w/ a slide. Turns out it was a perfect fit. Rylie absolutely loves it.
"Bubbles" is another new word of Rylie's!
Rylie loves bubbles. We got him an awesome bubble machine. He just loves it. If you get the grape scented bubbles at Dollar Tree. They smell good!!
Rylie's preschool teachers taught him to say "cheese" when taking a picture. I was so tickled to hear him say this. He's saying it here now. He's really making tons of progress!!
Daddy had to help get the leaves from the tree out of my mouth. It didn't taste as good as it looked.
Rylie wanted to pull the leaves off the tree and eat them.
Rylie and Daddy dressed alike for Father's Day. Aren't they cute??
Rylie also got a balloon at the party. He loves balloons
We went over to the park at WCC last night. Rylie crashed the birthday party they were having. He sat down at the table and made himself right at home. They were so nice. They fixed Rylie a plate of cake and chips and gave him a cup of punch.
Rylie is so rotten. He just wanted to act silly this morning.
This is Rylie with his CBRS worker Jana. She is the best! She has helped Rylie to learn so much and has great patients with him. He really looks forward to all of his visits with Jana.
What do you mean I can't rock and ride at the same time???
